Voyage Planner is a web application for planning group trips. It combines a shared day-by-day itinerary, a map of every place on the trip, flight and transport tracking with timezone-aware reminders, and an expense ledger that splits costs between travellers and works out who owes whom.

A flight or train with connections is one journey made of ordered legs.
- Each leg has its own origin, destination, departure and arrival times, and timezones.
- Layovers are calculated automatically; a connection under 45 minutes is flagged as tight and one over 4 hours as a long wait.
- On a connected journey the ticket link and ticket screenshot are stored per leg.
Check-in and departure reminders
Email reminders timed from each departure in its own timezone.
- A check-in reminder is sent 24 hours before the first departure.
- A departure reminder is sent 2 hours before each leg departs.
Shared expenses in any currency
Record who paid, in which currency, and how to split it.
- Split types: equal, exact amounts, shares, or personal.
- Each expense carries its own currency and an exchange rate to the trip's base currency.
- Balances show what you and each person owe one another; settle-up lists the payments to clear them.
- Analytics break spending down by category and by person.
Invite your travel companions
Share an invite link and the trip appears in their account.
- Participants can be added to the ledger without an account, for friends who only need to be paid back.

Yes. A journey can have several legs, each with its own airports, times and timezones. Layover length is calculated for you, and connections shorter than 45 minutes or longer than 4 hours are flagged.
When are flight reminders sent?
A check-in reminder is emailed 24 hours before the first departure, and a departure reminder 2 hours before each leg departs. Times are computed in the departure airport's timezone.
How does expense splitting work?
Each expense records who paid, the amount and currency, and a split: equal, exact amounts, shares, or personal. Amounts are converted to the trip's base currency using the exchange rate saved with the expense. Balances show who owes whom, and settle-up proposes the fewest transfers to clear everything.
Can I plan a trip with people who don't have an account?
Yes. Trip members join through an invite link. People who only need to be included in the expense split can be added as participants without an account.
How do I sign in?
With an email address and password, verified by a 6-digit code sent to your inbox, or with a Google account.
